Worlds Collide Ministries publishes dated updates so churches, volunteers, and supporters can distinguish completed preparation from future plans. The Central Florida camp is not yet accepting camper referrals.
Public resource guide added
We published a Central Florida resource guide connecting visitors with the Florida Abuse Hotline, the local community-based care lead agency, foster and adoption information, youth transition services, and Florida 211. This provides useful next steps while our own camp remains in formation.
After recovering the 2worldscollide.org domain, we restored the ministry website, secure HTTPS service, organizational information, program descriptions, privacy information, and a transparent explanation of the camp's current stage.
Learning through service at OneFamily Camp
Jason, Damarys, Josiah, Nathanael, and Ian served during camp week in counseling, activities, art, learning, and support roles. The experience provided practical lessons about safety, scheduling, volunteer care, worship, activities, and the consistent leadership required to serve children well.
Mentorship preparation completed
Rodney Jason Scott and Luz Damarys Scott completed Royal Family KIDS mentorship training. Camp-specific leadership training and host-church alignment remain future steps before a Central Florida camp can open.
Local grant supports the launch foundation
Worlds Collide Ministries received a $500 Walmart Spark Good Local Grant from the Orlando Narcoossee Road store under the Youth Services focus area. The grant supports preparation toward a future camp and mentoring program.
