About us

A local ministry preparing pathways of belonging for children in foster care.

Worlds Collide Ministries, Inc. is an Orlando-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties. Our mission is to help children in foster care move toward lasting safety, belonging, and permanent family connections by bringing churches, trained volunteers, families, and community partners together.

Why Worlds Collide

The ministry grew from the Scott family's experience opening their home and seeing how one act of welcome can change the direction of more than one family. That experience became a commitment to help churches and volunteers create dependable, dignity-centered support for children whose lives have been shaped by foster care.

Preparing through service

Rodney Jason Scott and Luz Damarys Scott have completed Royal Family KIDS mentorship training. Their family has also served at OneFamily Camp in counselor, activity, learning, and support roles. This preparation is helping the ministry understand the leadership, safety, volunteer, and partnership foundations required before launching locally.

Responsible launch

The Central Florida camp is not open yet. Worlds Collide Ministries is seeking a host church, completing required preparation, recruiting a qualified team, and building county and community relationships before accepting campers. Public communications protect the names, faces, case histories, and dignity of children in foster care.
